I write creative non-fiction and poetry. I received my BA in Psychology from Keene State College in 2014. Most recently, I’ve worked as a journalist for a local newspaper in southern Vermont. I’ve worked in a variety of roles, from support group facilitation with adults, behavior management with adolescents in a psychiatric residential program, and freelance proofreading and editing.

I’ve finished my first summer (working towards my MA degree) at the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English, and will return after finishing my MSW (clinical) degree at Smith College School for Social Work. I plan to specialize in narrative therapy for trauma. Some of my favorite writers include David Foster Wallace, Annie Dillard, Lauren Slater, Anne Lamott, Ann Patchett, Muriel Barbery, Jonathan Safran Foer, Philip Roth, Lucy Grealy, and Kay Redfield Jamison.

I am also a singer-songwriter, and I’m working on my first compilation of original songs all in open D tuning. My partner and I, and our two dogs Olive and Lily, live in western Massachusetts.
